Learning Support Assistant
30 hours a week, term time only (37.6 weeks), Monday – Friday (8.40 am to 3.10 pm)
We can be flexible around start and finish times & the number of days worked full-time or part-time 
Salary PS4: (£24,275 to £25,993 FTE). Starting pro-rata salary £16,924 

Do you have a desire to work as part of a team supporting young people in our school?      

We are looking for 2 Learning Support Assistants to work with an enthusiastic team of teachers and support staff, providing assistance to students with special needs, enabling them to achieve maximum access to the national curriculum and to integrate as fully as possible in the activities generally undertaken by students at the school.      

This is your opportunity to have a real impact on the educational outcome of our students.  You will be working in class, supporting key students to access the curriculum, as well as ensuring that the well-being, behaviour and personal development of students enhances their learning opportunities and life skills.    

Previous experience of working with young people would be an advantage.  A good level of written and spoken English is required, together with numeracy skills.   We offer a comprehensive induction programme for all new staff.
