EHS students remember Holocaust Memorial Day
Students in Years 9, 10 and 11 were invited to attend a presentation given by four Year 12 Esher College students.
They came into Esher High School to do a lunchtime talk about the importance of remembering the Holocaust. The Esher College students had previously visited Auschwitz as part of a project run by The Holocaust Educational Trust and they are now ambassadors for the programme. Evie, in Year 9, said “They really inspired us to take History at College, and they helped us be aware that it is 75 years since Auschwitz was liberated and that we need to reflect on that every year.”
