Year 7's learn life saving techniques on British Heart Foundation's 'Start a Heart' day.
In recognition of BHF's 'Start a Heart' day, PE Teacher Chris Horrod used equipment borrowed from BHF to deliver cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training to various groups within school.
Year 7's looked closely at the theme of "Saving a Life" with the emphasis on CPR and automated external defibrillator (AED) but also covering choking.
They will cover other vital skills like 'recovery position' In forthcoming lessons.
